Pushing Inc. Tattoo Emporium was founded in 1989. The studio began in a country studio built on a farm in Oro and is now the oldest Tattoo studio in Barrie, Ontario. In 1993 we moved from Oro to Barrie due to popularity and resided at 105 Dunlop Street East. After more clients expressed interest in our talent for creating body art, in 2003 we moved to 34 Bayfield Street to continue to accommodate our natural evolution of business. Following the devastating five points fire in December 2007 we relocated to Rose street.
We now have a new, strictly appointment only studio (similarly located at the north end of Barrie) that is roomy, bright and comfortable where people are able to enjoy a very relaxing, personal experience at Pushing Inc. Our current location has passed Health Department inspection as of January 2012. We are presently scheduling appointments via phone and/or e-mail.
Our studio is noted for its extreme cleanliness and we also have very disciplined control of sterilization and hygienic surroundings. We take every precaution that is available to us to ensure that there are no hazards to our customers. We use single use ink caps and razors, steripacked, autoclaved single use needles, tubes and tools. Everything is plastic wrapped and all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected after every tattoo. |

We are also one of a handful of studios that has worked with the Health Boards in Ontario to realize the standards we have today. We also work with several doctors when new concerns arise regarding our clients.
All our tattoo artists have turned their artistic talent towards producing custom designs to please each of our customers. Custom and cover up designs are our specialty. This allows for a smooth, flowing one of a kind tattoo The company has also earned different certifications, such as Infection Control and Bloodbourne Pathogens.
It is our customer care and concern that has helped our business and reputation grow. We are known as a friendly, clean, creative and reputable business. We take great pride in our customer service and referrals confirm that we are doing something right.
